Dr. returned. Jibril Ibrahim, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, returned to the country after participating in the Petersburg International Economic Conference held in Russia. During the conference, the Minister held several important meetings with international institutions, especially Russian ones, where it was agreed to establish economic partnerships between Sudan and Russia in several vital fields, in addition to his participation in a speech during the conference sessions in which he talked about the situation in Sudan and answered the questions raised in the forum. .
The Minister’s participation included initial partnerships in the financial and monetary fields, where opportunities for cooperation between Sudanese and Russian financial institutions were discussed to enhance financial stability and support economic growth in Sudan. In addition, the meetings discussed potential partnerships in the energy and mining sectors, taking advantage of the enormous wealth that Sudan abounds with.
These partnerships come in light of a government trend towards strengthening cooperation with Russia in the next stage, in an effort to achieve sustainable development and develop the economic infrastructure in the country. Dr. has expressed Gabriel expressed his optimism about the results of the conference and the importance of these partnerships in supporting the Sudanese economy and achieving the desired development goals.
